rear tyres

its should do, only 5mm wider each side, maybe a bit different getting round corners, but i got a good deal on some supercorsa ex track, only done a few warm up laps.. a lot of the race guys are using them, so cant be to bad ..... .............................. maybe.

Maybe.......if they are cheap enough it's worth a punt. Didn't think they still made the 200 rears anymore, the only bike that used to take those as standard was the zx12r :dunno
I've only ever run 190/55's on mine, so be interesting to see how you get on. :yes

got one to go on mine when the 212 dies, looks like it's going to be bloody close to the chain although if it rubs the chain should 'trim' the tyre easily enough.

Just dont expect them to grip in the wet.:no

Are supercorsa's no good in the wet then?

I have them on my Tuono but only do dry miles/laps now so would like to know before it rains lol

Not very. Mate had them on his 675 Daytona and first time out in the wet he nealry lost it, swapped them rather quick after that. Great in the dry tho'

Fat rear tyres may look cool but until you try a skinny rear, you don't realise how slow they make your bike roll into corners.

Less is more.

got these of a guy called john ingram, a bloody good competitive rider in the Morrello team, so this is creating my confusion, theres a lot of em moving to 200,s these days... so why.

i totally agree with what yer sayin OT, do racers do it different ????

Ave yer considered they rotate their tyre direction every race, until the scrutineers kick their arse.

Race dudes always try to recoup as much costs as possible.

Aye g, I did a 46 on these fookers last weekend.

Yer choice.

4 x 2.6miles (oulton park).

they was still warm when i put em in me boot.

i see what yer sayin though mucker..
