Hi,,,, had the mille out this weekend and the chain has caught the rear tyre and cut chunks out of it,, to be honest it was a lil bit lose but not that bad,, they dosnt seem to be hardly any room from the tyre to the chain,,, its got a 190 X 50 on,, just wondering if anyones had this problem?
thanks
Pete

firstly not all 190's are the same width they are allowed a tolerance, i found michelins to be wide and touch the chain.

it could be that the rear wheel is not straight it only needs to be a tiny bit out for the tyre to touch the chain

I have Pirelli BSP 190/55 on mine that has never touched the chain

I use 2cts and it nearly always rubs against the tyre. Never caused any problems though. The last 2ct didn't catch but most do. I had a Dunlop on and that didn't rub at all lots of clearance. I wouldn't worry about it mate
