Rear suspension linkage

Just as per title, I'm after an exploded view of the whole rear sus linkage for my 2001 rsvr. When I took it apart the other weekend there was some sideways movement between the doggone and the two linkage plates, and though that maybe there ought to be some kind of spacers... Or maybe not.
I took the bike out last weekend for my first proper ride out on it since buying it, and on a 85mph sweeping bend it started feeling really loose at the back, like the rear was sliding out then back then out and back, quite unnerving. Know I know it all needs setting up properly for me but this just felt wrong.
Thanks for any help.

IIRC...the link plates are without spacers...
there were only two spacers and these locate on one side of the lugs of the frame and swinger respectively...You could get 'em on the opposite side but this would make the bolts fit a bit strange probably.
Either way, you need to spend a moment and think it thru'; !
I found the handbook useful in conjunction with the manual, which you can find here man....!

Scroll down and find those exploded views that pertain to the suspension....

The sideways lateral play in the dogbone/linkage is perfectly normal.
However, I put some ptfe shims in mine to stop this float about 4 years ago along with replacing the link plates, and after servicing the linkages earlier this year, I found that they kept the grease in, and the **** out....good mod imho.

Tifa, well worth considering that. Where d'ya get the ptfe shims from, wouldn't even know where to start looking for that.
Cheers
