rear shock is fooked i think :(

was checking and cleaning my sachs rear shoc and the rebound damping nut at the bottom has seized ... cleaned it and freed it but it no longer clicks

any idea if any other model bikes has a shock that will fit ... not many on ebay for the rsv 04 onwards model apart from an over priced sachs

it dosen't really need to click in order to work

i've had the same problem, freed it and worked fine. maybe that's your case too. wind it up and see if it gets stiff. if it does it obviously works

37k on that shock , so maybe need a new one anyway lol

That was about when i swapped to a used ohlins on my 02!
The old one became a bit boingy, mind you the ohlins started leaking after 3 k.. Sigh
