Rear shock height / Length

B

BB1000

Has anyone adjusted this, mine is was 311mm and going by the book it can be adjusted to 317mm

Apart from seat height will this make the bike turn in quicker :dunno

cheers guys

puts more weight on the front and will quicken the steering, don't overdo it or you will lose stability, it's better raising the rear than dropping the front, you may to adjust damping as the weight transfer of the bike will be different.

I have got the forks dropped 4 notches on the front yoke? mine is a 2000 rsv, has anyone done this mod?

mines dropped 4 rings on the front
& is set to max height on the rear

Just had a nice ohlins installed, what a difference

Yep 2002, thats as far as I've got with playing with the suspension at the mo'

Although I did find it better when wearing a heavy rucksack, could really feel the suspension working then. Guess it could be set up a bit on the stiff side ?
