Rear seat fitment??

Morning guys,

I've just stuck my rear seat on ebay (to help fund one of Craigs airboxs!!) but wondered if there is a definative rule on which models it will fit?? I know it fitted my 2000 Mille but DIDN'T fit my '03 Tuono????:dunno:dunno

Would be good if i had a solid answer to stick on the advert!!

Hi Andi, if it is a 2000 model rear seat i.e pointed rear section, then this will only fit 98-00 models, not 01 on. Hope it helps and good luck sir :thumbup

Hmmm, i'm with you on that one. The tail is to squared off to be a pre 00 seat from that picture.

Yeah bud, that's what i thought!! but it DID fit my '00???? Wierd eh!!

Pretty sure i've read before that a post 00 seat will fit, just that it doesn't fit as well as it should do shall we say :devious

Alternatively, maybe you have a post 00 tail unit fitted to the bike :dunno

Cheers Cat...........now that you mention it, it didn't seem "quite" right for my model but did fit!! I'll go with "fits all models up to '03" and offer a refund if it doesn't!!
