Rear seat conversion

Hi all

Has anyone done the rear seat conversion and used the fittings on the seat to attach to the cowl.

I've just ordered my cowl and it doesn't come supplied with the base, so thinking of butchering the back seat.....anyone got any tips?
 
What year? I have got some bases, not sure what years will check tomorrow.

Mines a 2004 Tuono mate.

If you have a base that fits that would be amazing.
