Bleeding and subsequent re-bleding last for 1k miles. Now I get zero rear brake. Annoying.
Is there a better kit out there that doesn't cost arm/leg?

Got a 1098 master cylinder to fit, just need to get a slightly shorter hose with different end sorted. Mounts the same.

Ok. So I went ahead and found a Shiver's, went through all mounting and bleeding system. Spent a lot of time because first time doing that ever but that's ok. Had my haynes manual and forum winter mod link page help (thanx)... Well the rear braking action is... weak :( Brake pads are new. brake fluid is new.wondering what may be the cause... I bled exactly how Haynes says... ???

Check out the position of the caliper in the picture on that link I put up, you need to have the bleed nipple at the highest point.

Have u tried reverse bleeding it bud by pumping the fluid in through a large syringe and tube through the bleed nipple on the caliper until it fills the reservoir??

I did. I wasn't able to put it way up high like on that picture but it was higher than anything else. Will try again. Thanx for feedback guys. aprilia rules!
nikfubar you should know a thing or two about nipples huh?:devious

Thanx guys. I'll let u know of the progress when I'll commit to do the work. Peace.:thumbup

Been thinking (that can be dangerous) What about using a banjo with a bleed nipple and bleed straight from the master cylinder ???
