Rear indicators filling up with water!!!

Washed my bike today and noticed that both back indicators filled up with water - at least i know i have a home for my fish if i need it!!!

Opened up the lenses, drained and dried out. Noticed there is no seal in the indicator, so this is just going to keep happening.

Anyone else have this issue?

Won't be long before the bottom edge of your reflectors start to discolour

aye mine does it to, pain in the arse and i curse aw the wee italian glitches with a passion, but the second i kick it into life all is forgiven again lol,,,,

I put a bit of vaseline round mine:eek to try it out and its worked one wash worth.
Probably wont last. Might try a bit of non set silicone. Just a smear then wipe most of with me fingers. :dunno

Drill a drain hole in the bottom or seal with silicone, perhaps a wrap of ptfe plumbers tape before screwing the lens on.
if you grease one half apply silicone to the other an assemble it will stop it glueing the two together.

Hi Mucker. Would you buy a fiat? Nothing wrong with them, Or a TVR for that matter. Or any other fickle vehicle. If want Exotica, then there is a price to pay.
