Rear cylinder heat shiled.

Hi all, i recently bought the above mentioned from RSVR.NET but unfortunately it will not fit my bike:rant ('00 model, i have advised the guys at RSVR.NET about this as they were selling it for '98-'00 models. They are removing it from the '98-'00 range). So if you want it you can have free, just cover the postage as it's no use to me.

I ordered a heat shield from Aprilia Yorkshire five weeks ago and still waiting for them to get them in stock. :angry I'd be happy to take yours off your hands and I'll cancel my order. Just let me know how much you want and where to send payment.

Hi Colin mate, just cancel your order and send me your name and address and i'll post it off to you. Don't bother about payment mate, it'll only be a couple of quid to post and as i said i've no use for it and would rather someone else got some use out of it.

Does it work? I would have thought the heat would be transferred by the bolts anyway?

i fitted it the same time as braided line & gold rear caliper
also enlarged the m/c

My brake locked fine at start of ride & after an hour

Hi cheesy mate, yeah the same thing! I would've needed to cut the bottom pre-drilled hole off to get it to fit on mine as there was no way the pipe feeding into the bottom of the casing would go through it! Too much bother for what might or might not make a big difference mate!!
