Now then lads,

Is it me or are the rear breaks on the mille's hrdly worth having mine is crap and talking to a fellow mille rider at my local bike meet he reckons it's the servo that needs checking bleeding every month or so. I can't see this myself but I'm new to the mille!

Not good. Take the caliper off & hang it upside down so the bleed nipple is uppermost then bleed it.

Once it's bled properly, it can be **** hot! I can lock mine up! But admitadly it will go off eventually

dont use it!! front break and engin breaking should do the trick. if you need more than that your riding needs looking at??

I find the rear Brake comes in handy when slowing from 150+ Also if a wheely get's too high, slow speed manuevers and correcting your line when cornering.

The rear brake is ok, all that is needed is some attention, if you take your time bleeding it then it will work good.

My back brake works pretty well, admittedly it was like that when i bought it and i darent open it up to bleed new fluid through ... but if you can get it bled properly, hang a 5kg weight or similar off the rear brake pedal and it should keep nice and firm. i can lock mine ... i use it all the time too, to tighten corners, when going slow through town and also assisting the front brake and engine braking when slowing quickly from speed. its a lot more useful than people imagine !!

For fecksake its BRAKE. We have brakes on our bikes!!!!! WE brake to slow down and stop. If we dont use the BRAKES in an emergency we will probably BREAK something. See what I did? There IS a difference

give him a brake!!!

Another great thing to do is buy a set of Griff's rearsets. They'll help with relocating your master cylinder.

Break's over, back to werk....
