Rear Brake Reverse Bleed Method Not Working!

Having bought myself a syringe kit off Fleabay I thought I'd give my non-existent rear brake the benefit of 30 min of attention and try and get some resistance from the pedal to translate into effect at the disc.
I emptied the miniature reservoir about 5-6 times and had no bubbles coming out at the end, but when I tightened everything I had nothing at the brake. Tried the old fashioned method with no discernible effect. I didn't try the fulll blown KZMille method as I didn't have the time.
I'm thinking that my master cylinder might have blown for none of this to work, not even a bit. Would these symptoms point to something more catastrophic than just air, or am I doing the bleed wrong?
Appreciate your thoughts. Otherwise it's a new master cylinder, unless Brembo do a seal kit. Anyone have any experience of this?
She's in Griff's care on Friday so ultimately I'm sure he can point me in the right direction.
Cheers

Yeah, I had this with mine.

I had to inject fluid whilst very slightly operating the rear brake lever to allow fluid to fill the master cylinder.

Once the master cylinder was full I then removed the rear caliper and hung it so it was higher than the reservoir, bled it through again and it was the dogs danglees.

HTH

I pushed all the old fluid out from the MC and then when i was sure all the old fluid was out I sucked the fresh stuff from the bleed nipple on the caliper did the vlave up and hey presto job done.

Ditto :)

I pumped about 4 litres through my system before giving in and replacing the MC then it was fine. I had blown the seals some how! when the rear brake seized on.

My new bike how ever was brill, Brought the bike and no brake at all! Connected my brake pump and within five minutes and about 3 passes I had a solid rear brake.

I did remember about holding the caliper in all directions too :lol

Problem Solved!

Was talked into a set of Griff's rear sets on Friday (well, not much salesman effort required by Griff really!) and now have a rear brake as a bonus as well as a pair of rearsets that look the dog's danglies. Beautifully made and in anodised black the 100 mile trip home on the motorway showed them to be dead comfy for me (only 5'9" tho') and improved gear change due to the extra moment arm on the gearlever I suppose. Even got to choose my limited edition set number 0009). I'll chuck some phots on soon once I can work it out.

Thanks Griff always a pleasure to do business...hope your fork leg didn't keep you in the workshop too late!

Now PCII and Mivv end can next. Ooh and HIDs. Oh and an airbox...
