Rear Brake Master Cylinder

Can anyone help??
I have just put my 2002 RSV-R into the local garage for a service and to check the rear brake, apparently the seals have gone in my master cylinder but the seals aren't available seperately which means a new master cylinder. This doesn't sound right to me, can anyone give me any more info??
And is there a mod availble to move the cylinder from the ridiculous location??
Cheers,
Billy

Only to fit it to a set of gilles rear sets. Which cost the price of a small Scottish Island.

mine went so i replaced it then i put the heat sheild on and some exhaust wrap where the front pipe passes it . so far so good

heat wrap off ebay , i also did th rear pipe to stop shock from getting to hot and it looks trick :thumbup

I'm having the same problem as you. Just purchased a new M/C and I will put heat wrap both exhaust sections and will keep you posted as well.

i'm braking my rsvr edwards. Would you be interested in the one of mine?

Griffs rearsets relocate the master cylinder, PM him for a set. The standard master cylinders are usually pretty good and yes the garage is telling you the correct information, no seals I'm afraid.

You can pick them up on Ebay for around £30, pretty much all Italian bikes use this master cylinder.
