Well, thanks to all who share their knowledge on this site, I have finally sorted out the common problems that I encountered when I purchased my first RSVR.

Changed oil jet to jet 40, sorted neutral problem out.(Mind you I did wait 8 weeks for part to come), worth it though.

Changed the gearing, put a 44 tooth sprocket on the back, I can now tick over around town in 2nd, 3rd gear instead of 1st.

Changed the side stand with one from a gixer 1000, bike much more stable now, dont have to worry about it falling over in mild breezes.

Even changed the oil and filter myself, Mind you did,nt expect bike to take nearly 4 litres of oil.

Just waiting for crash bungs to be fitted by local dealers, (dare,nt do that myself Iwill probably end up with a hole as big as the bung itself in the fairing).

So once again MASSIVE THANKS to all. :thumbup

Changed mine last night for the first time, found exactly the same. I was quite surprised to find it took that much. There's normally a fair bit left for top up when I've done it on other bikes :eek:mg

8 weeks for the oil jet  mind you ive waited 2 wks and had to get onto them to post it otherwise i'd still be waiting :eatcorn

:banghead:bangheadYep, 8 weeks ang I was on the phone every week. Apparently everyone from this site must have ordered one and they cant supply them quick enough.
