Hi, as I understand it my 04 rsv1000r has 2 maps built into the ecu. I have race cans but I know for a fact its running on map 1, so should I put the standard cans on or am I worrying about nothing? I know some bikes I have owned can run ok as they run rich but I'm just getting to know the aprilia.
Next question is where abouts near Odiham is the nearest place that can switch the maps? :dowhat

If its a Gen1 you cut a wire to access the the 2nd map, if its a Gen 2 you need a dealer with an Axone as its a software change.
There seems to be as many arguments for running standard cans on map 1 as there are for not, however if going to map 2 you should probably change to a performance air filter as well.

Ahh my mistake then, I take it your saying its got to be programmed. That's kind of my question, where is a good place near me to get it done. So should I put the standard cans on asap, or is it ok till I get the map done, oh its a Gen2 by the way.
