Hi all, recently fitted a scorpian end can. Now the bike feels down on power, what would be the best course of action to get it running right that doesn't include putting the standard pipe back on. Remap the existing ecu, race ecu or power commander. Thoughts please.

Send your ecu to Gabro.

He will reflash it with his own uprated version of the Aprilia race map which includes autotune files from my bike.

The improvement over the stock ecu map is incredible. Part throttle response is greatly improved and it pulls like a train right through the rev range.

Cheers for the quick replies, I have sent an email to Gabro about the ecu but when its flashed and returned does it need to be fitted by a dealer with the correct software or is it simply plug n play?

You will need to do throttle and handle learning when you get it back.

Both of these can be done yourself with the aid of Guzzidiag software and a couple of inexpensive cables.

GuzziDiag / IAWDiag

Lonelec

And a video by our resident Mandlebar racer dude on how to do the learning

Just for your information, I run a pipercross airfilter and Austin Racing GP Ultimate exhaust and have no flat spots or hesitation of any sort.

Although not needed with the Gabro map I have also removed the exhaust flapper valve cables and servo and removed the stock lambda sensor.

and how much is it for the ecu to be flashed by gabro and where is best place to order guzzidiag cables from ??

Reflash when I got my stock ecu done was 300 euro plus postage.

If you already have the race map it is cheaper.

I got my cables from ebay I think or just order direct from lonelec in the link in my last post.

Hi Rizla, I did reply last night with a link just to be sure I was buying the correct cable, it did not make it to the site due to lack of posts by me though lol. It is the actual Guzzidiag cables I need isnt it and not the tune ecu Aprilia cable. I have messaged Gabro but as yet had no reply

I'm not on the Facebook lol, misses is but then she would know how much it costs :thumbdown

I have had 1 reply from Gabro so far to apologise for not answering sooner lol, this was over 3 weeks ago and he hasn't responded to any other reply emails yet, only sent 2 btw so it's not like I'm spamming him. Tried Facebook too, messaged back asking me to email him:thumbdown. Anyone else had any trouble just getting a price and an address to post an ecu to him?

Yay got a reply, no more ecu's till after Christmas lol. He will message me then. Just my luck.

ecu is on its way to Gab, Guzzydiag cables are here and installed so about time the fooking weather picked up so I can have some fun innit lol

You will love it :thumbup

I did the Gabro ecu first then added a PCV and Autotune and sent the fuel trim tables to Gabro to add into his latest ecu flash.

My autotune added a lot of fuel low down and at part throttle openings and now the throttle response is incredible. there is power right from the slightest twist of the fun handle.

Your ecu will have these modifications included
