Rapid Flash Stop/Tail LED's

I have for sale 2 rapid flash stop and tail LED's, just removed from my 2001 RSV.

They are standard stop and tail LED's which in themselves are worth buying for the safety factor.

However these LED's have an in built PCB that upon application of the front or rear brake lever flashes the stop lamp for around 5 seconds. After flashing for 5 seconds they stay on until the lever is released.

They are 1157 type fitment, this means that the pins on the sides are not level, one pin is higher than the other.

Correct these are in a Lexus and yes they look fantastic on a bike.

Asking for £25 delivered to anywhere mainland the UK.

Hi Smiffy,

I do still have them but I have refitted them too the bike.

They are great and really are very bright and the rapid flash for 5 seconds or so when you activate the brakes really catches the person behind you's eye.

Absolutely no chance of any one running in to the back of you and saying they didn't see you.

Hello mate, I have just checked that website and it has a set that flashes 20 times per second and flashes for 2 seconds....will that be them?

Yeah that's them but I think I gave you the wrong link, I'm pretty sure we use the 1157 type bulb and not the 3157 type bulb.

Best thing to do is pull off one of your rear lamp lenses, pull out one of the stop and tail bulbs. It should have two terminals at the very bottom and two pins either side, with one pin being higher than the other.

If it's as described above then you have 1157 type bulbs, any difference then come back to me and we'll see if we can identify what bulbs you have fitted.

As for the flashing, yeah mine goes for a few seconds really fast then stays on solid.

Bad boy, Yes I want a couple of LED rear bulbs....have a look at the link in amb's post.
Following your battleship I can honestly say the only time I see your lights working are late at night ( I want to be seen).....the rear lights on the 04 RSV onwards its a little like you...." as bright as a blown out candle" you big :jack :jack :jack :jack

I've had mine fitted to my ZX6R previously and now my RSV and never been pulled in 4 years.

They pass MOT's too.

They can't be illegal as my Merc has them as standard fitment.
 
Are you coming on this ride on the 28th? you live in Kent....we might even pass your front door
 
Hopefully!!

Just managed to get a hold of the last bit I needed for my lower rear shock dogbone. Will be rebuilding it at the weekend and taking for a test ride, I imagine I'm going to need to set up the rear suspension again.

I'll let you know how it goes!!
