I hate this time of year :angry Its still dark when I get up and its getting dark when its time to go home :angry Jesus Christ, just a few weeks ago I was meeting the Lads at 7pm and going out for a blat on the Bike :angry Sorry for the moan but it gets me down :down Can someone cheer me up by telling me they've just done a track day at Phillip Island or some thing along those lines please :thumbup

It may be dark where you are but at least there's no snow on the roads like here...
Feeling a bit better as I have just demolished a bottle of wine (hic) Soz for the moan but the summer was crap and I didn't get out on the bike yesterday.

Mate I know what you mean. Another **** summer=less saddle time and itsbloody winter already. Very depressing
My mind wandders back to 2003, what a fantastic summer that was. Up at 5am on a Saturday and Sunday, out to Rutland water to watch the Sun come up then a right good blat round some of the best roads in the Country. Fingers crossed for next Summer Lads, sticky tyres and winding roads, come on !! Just going for another glass of wine (hic)
Think yourself lucky Matt,i have'nt rode my bike for nearly 2 years
.it needed some work done and it took me a while to get the parts,then my job turned to ****.so bike just sitting round the back of my mates workshop,waiting for me to get some money to sort it,or better still a job that pays half decent.i have'nt been on a bike for so long lm gonna need post it notes on the levers so i know what they do.

i don't mind the longer nights at the moment. Means my 5 week old daughter thinks it's time to sleep a bit longer! At least it isn't too slippery yet
LOL I feel sorry for you mate lovely country and all that but those winters are outrageous. :roll
I did a few tours in Canada - Med Hat and feck me was it cold out there.
It hit -26 degrees C one night.Had a BBQ one evening, all stood around in shorts drinking beers etc... as you do. Went to bed got up in the morning and there was 3 foot of snow stacked up against the door. I spent 20 minutes looking around for Jeremy Beadle, I was sure it was a wind up by some of the guys.
I actually like the colder darker weather , like snow too...............but then I'm foreign so nuff said really :confused
I can vouch for KiwiRSVR he certainly is a strange one. :nana
Soz about last night Lads had a few glasses (to many) of Aldi's finest (4 pounds for a litre of red). Feeling alot better today, got the Bike out and had a ride up to Lincoln to have lunch. What a fantastic Autumn day. Came back to Nottingham the long way via Bourne and Market Harborough :thumbup

In Helsinki daylight is less than 6 h in December in Rovaniemi (up north) some 2 hours.
Well in the summer daylight time almost 19hours... Helsinki
There is a small change for a ride yet - if the road is dry and if the temperature is more than +4 C
