the ongoing saga of getting my fuel map switched continues tomorrow, any one interested for a run out weather permitting let me know.

2nd attempt called off due to fog
3rd attempt - plan as follows

Early start as have to be in Thirsk for 09;30 so meet at 08;15 Littlethorpe roundabout for the long way round
breakfast in Thirsk then off for a blast :
Rippon, Leyburn, Bedale, North Allerton, Bishop Auckland, Durham then home.
anyone wanting to meet at Thirsk for breakfast meet at 10 next to the monument opposite the market
Got to get the bike out as i am sick of cleaning it:yes

I would really like to attend, but stuck at work on the annual shut down.

This is the second week of 12 hour shifts & I am getting a bit tired.
Should be done by next week though.
We get a load of contract labour (fitters, sparkys & tiffys) in each year & the average age is getting older each year.
Before long, it will be OAP`s running everything.
Does no-one take on apprentices these days ?

I see Oliver Mount - **** of the North is on next week end (21st)

That should bring on the rain.

Had a bloke in this morning about solar panels from 10, ******* didn't go till after 12, then is started to rain. Totally pissed off now!
Hope you got a ride out Brooksy & map sorted

all sorted with the latest mapping and booked for 6,200 service at the end of the month, must admit i am impressed with Andy at Teasdales.
took her for a spin and running sweet as, 3 hours later arrived back home sporting a huge grin and the second empty fuel tank of the day :thumbup
forecast for tomorrow is good so if anyone is interested in a good run out meet at Chester le street 10:30 for Brooksy's mystery tour :yes

Well it was just the dynamic duo out today. Met at Stanhope and had a cup of coffee while watching the bikes and floosies go by, then burn up some tarmac over the moor to Barnadr Castle for, yep another cup of coffee. Had a natter to a few other bikers there, then Brooksy sped off into the distance on his super quick Map 2 tornado.
Good ride out, may get old Olaf out next time, or 2013...

yes Grin i must agree a good ride out :thumbup i am sure those pesky sheep are deaf, is it against the law to mount machine guns under the nose cone :lol what is this old olaf you speak of mate? perhaps a figment of your imagination or a mythical beast :dunno
bike all nice and clean again ready for the service next week and hopefully a couple good ride outs as i have a 4 day weekend next week :yes

Sorry i missed this... memo to self not to get up so early next time... will look out for the next one...

:)

Thanks for the invite, but my trivial excuses are :-
1. quite pathetic
2. I wont say as you will only take the piss even more.

On top of the previous reasons for not attending, its the wifes birthday today & I have to shmooze one of the bosses tonight.
He is up from Bristol & stopping at Lumley Castle.
Not the candle lit evening meal for two the wife was expecting.

Keep booking these events Brooksy, I will be attending soon.

Olivers Mount is on this week end, **** of the North event.

I went last year & I remember it being cold then.

The wind was blowing directly onto the hillside & we couild not find anywhere to keep warm.
