following from Nobi's chav/bling/gangsta gold mesh, here is something a little more restrained.

Mesh is black powder coated grille mesh by RaceX.

Top Radiator - cowls removed,

Mesh - cut with tin snips, scissors, or even a craft knife.

Installed upper mesh

Lower mesh fitted. It gets trapped by the plastic strip across the top of the rad's and the bellypan

Thats looks the bizz mate. Doesn't shout chav at you either.
Fancy making me a set?

Difficult to post mesh :rolleyes

It's a piece of cake. :thumbup

Hardest thing is lining the centre bolt up on the belly pan, and be careful with the two self tappers that go into the upper radiator - don't want to hole your Rad.

Looks like something thats easy enough to do and may well save you a few quid if a stone decides to hit hard.

Looks like the man knows how to use his hands. Looks sweet and discreet. But then those are things that we have never accused Nobster of.
Nice job there lad. Might be an easy project for me to try as there is a LOT of gravel in the spring, around here.

Paul. Top notch job mate, but isn't the purpose of any guard to protect? Imo the guards need to be placed a given distance from the radiator fins, say a least 15mm or more and strong enough to withstand a stone's impact at whatever speed. I'm a fud and they look brill and job well done.

I'm thinkin' that they'll mitigate the damage from a wayward stone trying to hole the rad. They still flow a shitload of air as well.

These will spread the impact of a stone, if you've seen a rad without any shielding at the end of the year, most stones dent rather than pierce the rad, these mesh covers will prevent that for a very small amount of cash.

If you want the armour plate ones, Beowulf make some for about £70.

70 quid for the Beowulf?? Facking robbery. Must be gold plated. Just don't show nobby.. he'll get all chavvy and be like a magpie on a shiny new trinket.

Tidy looking job there Howard, have you made some for Hilda's bike too :thumbup

Feck off, lanky :lol:cheers

No, but I will probably wind up giving him the leftovers. :rolleyes

Right show us the pics.

That looks pretty damn sweet actually. I like the finished edges and it doesn't look like something that chavvy lil nob might like, so I'm sold!
