Radiator Cover?

I was just looking for the same thing. I found a couple of golden ones on ebay but that color doesn't fit my bike. Did you check out those?
Unless theres some other better looking/colored choises available somewhere I'll probably end up making some sort of a cover myself. In the end its only some metal mesh with a frame around it.
Does any other bike have the same size radiator? Or even something thats close enought to be easily modified to fit an RSV? Theres lots of custom covers available for japanese bikes with less € or $.
Edit: beowulf-performance-products.com has some. But still quite pricey compared to more common japanese covers... But hey. It's like that and thats the way it is when you drive Aprilia
Maybe I'll keep looking for some alternative parts to modify before buying those.

Get some mesh from B&Q and mould round, then just nip ends in, they wont go anywhere, will fit bike then and be damn sight cheaper, and any colour you want.

Yeah was thinking of making my own, was more worried about the oil rad, right inline of the wheel.
Gold's not my colour either, some nice matt black ones for me. I will keep looking.

click He makes them himself. By far the easiest retrofit I've had to do on the bike. Trust me, you'll want to order on ASAP. I've got two big *** gashes in my radiator before I retrofitted this beauty. It's cut to size. Anodized. And from what I remember, around $100 or so.

Its fairly easy to do
1 take off lower fairing
2 get the grill that you have bought from the local DIY centre ( must be aluminium )
3 cut the grill 3 cm larger than the rad.
4 grab a ribber mallet and tap gently!! to form the shape of the rad, leaving the grill un touched at the top.( as it is covered by the lower fairing )
5 then simply get 4 small cable tyres and tie on the top of the rad bracket.
6 stand back and admire your handywork

Those look pretty smart Dan :thumbup I looked at bying some mesh from B&Q and doing it myself but was surprised how expensive the sheet of mesh was, especially if i fcuked up :biggrin but it might be better getting those from the link, at least they will look professionally done :thumbup
garvey got the mesh from work its stainless steel abit harder to form round the top and bottom of the rads. but sure if you find or now some one who works in a local engineers fab shop they will sort you out cheap enough:thumbup
