What's the best way to remove that notice on the end of race ackro cans like on the Edwards Rep?

Can they be removed easily without leaving a obvious patch?

Get another little stip of metal and rivet it over the original. Or for MOT just put tape over it as they can't take it off to test it:thumbup

if its in stainless use some w&d. GO down the grades to 1200, then some autosol. Took me about 20 mins

I polished mine out as described above then had it engraved with the BSAU etc,was never questioned when checked

I sanded mine down using finer wet and dry each time and then polished it up. Worked a treat.

Either that or buy new straps and rivet them on as they have no markings!

i've got a bit of electrical tape over mine, not sure that will cut the mustard come MOT time tho:dunno. dunno whether attempting to polish out will make a mess of the titanium finish:dunno that would be a shame!
