Heard of some dealerships holding back the code to sell separately and wondered if anyone else had experienced the same ?Give Windy Corner a ring & speak to Scott. He was telling me that he had done a race remap on a RSV4 race bike with a Bazazz system on it, the results of the map were that good when it was put on the dyno the Bazazz setting were not used only the race ecu base map.

Sorry old post but wondered how you got on because I have fitted a Mivv end can removed cat and flapper disconnected and I was asking Wheels about the race map as I want to remove the DB killer.....I was told no need to go to RACE map stay on the stnd 2013 map Ap even confirmed this to them....Now this goes against alot of other feedback on the web but I cannot get any evidence to go back to them its alot of say so....not sure if anyone here has some hard facts....
However me wanting to be safe I started sugguesting that I was to update to Race map and was told that as it was onl for a full Aka system I would be in danger of voiding the lifetime warrenty!!!.......So I am stuck.....they told me to remove the DB killer and enjoy...dont worry its under warrenty anyway and they are positive it does not need the RACE map in its current trim only with full.........
Never had so much bloody issue with a bike....R1 race cans/no bother/PC fitted all ok....
However the Tuono is best bike ever !! just want official Aprillia notice to say what is correct but UK lot I cant get any reply..
As the others advised me try Windy Corner, Scott really knows what he's talking about and their official Aprilia dealers too so warranty should be ok

Am running acrapovich race can with db killer removed.this was fitted by my Aprilia dealer and was told no problem doing this.i have no reason to not believe them as would be on there heads if it caused a problem.have also heard a few who have switched back to standard mapping as didn't get on with it. Not saying it doesn't change things but each to there own.
Phoenix have you disconnected the exhaust flap as well?........this set up with no race map is what my Aprilia dealer is saying after consulting with Aprilia Tech dept...but we appear to have so much opposite feedback....2013 map on now and looking at the air/fuel ratio on a dyno test post on another site the std 2013 appear to be now alot closer to the race mapping..
If you have a RACE map on your bike & you have a warranty problem, a friendly Aprilia dealer would ,I`m sure, switch to the standard map to get around an issue.
I would recommend Windy Corner, Scott has set my 07 up with a new set of acro's today, v professional and as a tuono owner had plenty of advice for decent mods...he seemed very keen on the airbox mod for midrange
Been on hold so just looking thought posts reason for delay....my problem is my dealer is suggesting I will void my warranty with them if I get the race map....
Bike just now run in...wow after 9k it goes wild......racing mate on gsxr750 and they are like for like from a rolling start but I would say the ap just has a the edge..but he would not agree to that.....out of bends etc then it's another story no way can he hang on..
All I would like now is the full sound but worried about removing the db killer. Have flap disconnect but I am starting to think that when the ap dealers are saying on std map with only can they are not taking into account that most of us are disconnecting the flap as well....(even though my ap dealer says its all ok)...now do I reconnect flap and remove db killers on my mivv can?

Remove your baffle, disconnect the flapper
You can always hook the flapper up again if you go in.
I dont see what your dealers problem is, if Aprilia can sell the full system and race map for a Tuono/RSV4 why can it void warranty as an aftermarket part? All s doing is altering air fuel mix and a few other bits.
BUT not everyone has said the RACE map improves the ride, some find it too snatchy at low revs.
However you really need the RACE map to go down the PCV route which I am doing.
You can always hook the flapper up again if you go in.

Well I phoned and now codes are being processed! What was disappointing is that my m&s in ap dealer who gave me the ecu numbers unfortunately made a mistake and missed a letter on the ecu bar code which I found when checking myself before giving numbers to Kev....
Only question I have is can you retain the db killer with race map....my mivv can is about 60mm pipe and not tried it yet but concerned it might be way too loud without the db.
