Base bike found on ebay, will upload images as it progresses, going to be doing Sound of Thunder/Golden Era Racing with her next year all going well.

Stripped down now, forks out for new seals and oil, chain and gearing to be done, ASH 12mm Crankcase Breather fitted, TRW Rearsets fitted, HEL Brake lines to fit then just need new pads and oil.

Have you done the airbox mod and which chain and sprockets are you running??

Hi Ian, yes its got an open airbox renegade style that came with it, removed just now but will be putting up photos as and when i get it back together, just finished a makeshift thermostat removal pipework and will put up a photo soon once i know its going to hold. I have a DID Racing chain 520-ERV3 and 15 tooth front and 45 rear ordered just waiting on it arriving, everyone quick to take your money but slow with delivery these days it seems.

Thermostat removed, Parts from ASH, Just need to check it under pressure and tidy it up a bit when I eventually change all the hoses but no leaks so far.

Forks Seals Done and Back In Bike, Diamond 51mm Clipons Fitted, Just waiting on Domino Quick Action Throttle to come then I can Line them all up to suit my riding position. HEL Brake Lines to finish now.

15/45 Has this been advised by others to suit track work?

Are you keeping the shotgun pipes?..if so make sur you mod the exhaust collector

hi redratbike, yeah did some searching a while back as ive always raced 4s although i have my mille road bike still, just fancied a change and a go at racing one, anyway not sure if the link works but i found some info from here by badger, Track gearing for 02 MilleR - aprilia.me Forums
as soon as i seen it i plumped for 15-45 as thats what all the minitwins race with at my local track east fortune so must be pretty similar, still not sure about the shotguns would have prefered a 2-2 system but not sure the budget this year is gonna stretch to it, they are still expensive even second hand when you can find some, did try and sell the shotguns but didnt get much interest at the time, might try again.
Ive seen all the posts about the modded collectors and its very interesting never knew about this before but i believe you are the very man to ask about it :thumbup

Yeah I'm the man .for collectors send me a PM if you are interested ... 10 bhp in the midrange great punch out of the corners

.. List the shotguns on aprilia.me someone put a wanted ad up I'm sure they are selling for about £2-250 at the moment

Badger knows his stuff..just sounded like wheelie machine gearing to me ha ha

Domino Quick Action Throttle KRR03 + Universal Cables Fitted and Really pleased with how easy it was, Handles and levers lined up and finished, rain light switch to fit to clutch side, going to use the same as the kill switch/starter on the throttle side, using the kill part to power the rain light and the starter switch to work the inbuilt RSV Lap Timer.

Coming together now, DRC Phantom Rain Light of LHS Handlebar Kill Switch used Starter switch as lap button, Rear Brake finally sorted with a pushrod from a futura, Light Weight Ion Battery, Modded Collectors fitted from Redrat, just waiting on Pro Race GP Style Can then get her to the Dyno.

Racing Lock stops Fitted, got them custom made at a company called projection racing, very helpful.

Ricambi Weiss fairing going on, not the easiest to fit but at the price its worth the hassle, would probably recommend the RSV OEM air ducts and others fairings for a neater fit.

Keeps inserting my thumbnails upside down but if you click thumbnail again when opened it comes up right way round lol.
