Hi dears,
except color, frame adjusters, and 5 kg less what is the real difference.
those air intakes become not variable on R model?
inside the engine could be also some differences?

The main diference is is better suspension and adjustability on the factory, like you already noticed. Engine is the same, except the engine "cover" or how to say this, its from Alu not Mg, dont know about the air intake, that all I could find out on google :D

velocity intake are the same?
on their site is obviously that there is a difference but...
about suspension I say nothing

Have heard lots of talk about how much better the Ohlins suspension is than the Showa fork / Sachs shock on the R model. Ohlins is certainly more desirable, but I'd be hard pressed to criticize the performance of the stock suspension on my R model.

+1 mate, its not always about what labels on it. I know this from when i had my first big bike, a k6 sv650. I used to keep up with (and often beat in twisties!) an sp1 an early r1 and a k6 gixxer. Although my bike was up and down the gears like an il4 600 to keep up and the most basic of suspension was bouncing all over the place i had an absolute blast on that bike :biggrin so its not always about what you have, its how you ride it and how much fun you have. Having had such a blast on the most basic of bikes, and ridden a base model rsv i can definately see your point! Although mine is the fancier model, i test rode a base model before buying mine and there was nowt wrong with it. Just fancied a faster black one :bounce
