Hoping someone who has there RSV to hand can help me out. Do the lower R&G crash bungs have the R&G logo, etc on both bungs or just on one??

The pair I have taken off my bike have the logo on one only, which has raised as doubt as to whether they are both R&G?

Many thanks

DT

both of mine have the R&G markings, always hints of previous damage when mis-matched,having said that mine are damaged,

Looking at your pic on the for sale forum, I would say they were different. The finish looks different, and also the radius's on the end, although it is hard to tell from a pic where they are at different angles to each other.

Cheers for the replies.

Checked them out myself last night. I think they are both R&G because aprt from the machining of the end they are both identical i.e same diameter, both have the aluminium compression sleeve and the same bolt, thread pitch, etc.

They are a few years old so maybe they have changed the manufacture to include the logo on both sides. Otherwise the previous owner may have had the end of one machined smooth if it sustained some light damage to the end (in the event of a drop or something.

Otherwise, both bungs are perfectly straight, etc.

Yeah, I fell lucky with that one. Griffs about a mile from me. Unfortunately, due to working in Wolverhampton I never seem to be in the area when he's actually open:roll
