quill evo 2 high mount carbon cans and link pipes, brackets etc for sale £550 delivered to uk mainland. done a few hundred miles, as new.

My signature speaks volumes for me.
Prefer the standard look for now, I can get some more Quills anytime as thier only down the road. I've put a bid in for some black satin Aprilia ones on teabay. Gonna core em.

ha ha i cant speak,had 3 sets of cans on my last 06 r1 before i was happy,started with *** akra's,then carbon akra's and finally completely titanium tiforce system,the tiforce is the nicest made system ive ever seen and not to say was it light,even compaired to the akra's,good job fleabay's here to sell them on or ide be hung by now:lol
also had 2 set's on my duc 916,arrow's which i hated and replaced them with shark's(very rare)and so so nice:thumbup

Good luck. I did mine about a month ago and it was hard work. Worst bit was removing the cats, in the end I found the best way was to use an air chisel :)
I cut mine down as well by 51/2 inches and they sound ******* awesome. The only thing I've found that comes close is a 1098 with a full Termi system on it.

I drilled a 1 1/4 hole through the cats on mine, easy enough with the newer ones but didn't do anything at the other end as it was just a quicky get me through thingy for Oulton. I've bought some 'new' older ones in black and I'll tackle em at the weekend. Are the cats at tuther end on the older ones ?
 
The cats are in the link pipe end at the bottom of the can and they are horrible to remove. If I did another set I think I would leave them in for the hassle involved.
 
Would that not mess up the fueling with the bike being on M2 ?
Took about 10 mins for each hole to be drilled in the cats. A lot of swearing too tho :yes

Dont suppose you'd be interested in some Akra's as PX? Quite like the high level look, just not sure the carbon would look right on my 2008 factory colour scheme. Oh decisions decisions!!! Me having 3 sets of exhausts would just be greedy!

Decided to keep the high mounts men. Now OFF sale :thumbup
 
Really... What makes one set of pipes sooooo much more than another set?? If high end materials are used by both, then WTF?? Yes Akropovic makes a nice pipe, but for that price, I want a years worth of warm ******** included to counter the ******* I'M getting. When is a name really worth the price diff?
