Was a bit more difficult than I thought to get it mounted using standard rear-sets but I got there in the end! :biggrin.

Drilled and tapped a hole in the gear lever (drill bits and tap provided with the kit)... why the hole all along it Aprilia? Was a pain in the arse and the reason I had to mount it so far forward... and drilled and tapped 2 holes in my crash bung and used the supplied "L" bracket to mount the other end. Had to file away a very small amount of material on the frame (really small) for clearance for the head of the screw but apart from that was all ok!

Had a hair-pulling-out moment when the bike wouldn't start but then realised I had the quickshifter adjusted so far out that it was cutting the spark even when sat doing nothing!. Took a couple of rides with a spanner in my pocket and a bit of adjusting to get it exactly right but it's all sorted :thumbup.

WOW, it's fun!!!

Have set it to 4500rpm minimum and 70ms cut time for now but might play with it a bit lower than that (say 60ms).
