Quick Shifter

Just took V4R APRC for a test in Murcia, Spain, wasn't brave enough to play with the settings, but chatting with the dealer after in Spanglish, i'm sure he said you could only use the quick shifter while in Track mode, is this correct?

No ... you can use the QS in any mode at any time beyond 4k for upshifts

Sorry for being stupid, but my dealer showed me nothing on the bike. So the quick shifter is activated by just pulling up on the shifter right? You dont have to hit any buttons or anything like that right?

Yep,no buttons to press,...you dont use the clutch or throttle either.As long as the revs are above 4000rpm,just bang the gears in.Remember this is for changing UP only.
