anyone had a quick shifter fitted to their t?
I've just bought one and wondered if there was any do's or don'ts I should consider before I fit the bugger.... ;-)

hi,yes fitted dynajet shifter last week ,i had to drill and tap bolt hole in gear lever and fabricate extension rod to fit top bolt hole of sprocket cover drill and tap came with shifter .also had to get local dyno center to activate power commander has i could not do it on my laptop. turned out my powercommander needed firmware updating as i was using an 05/06 rsv commander on a 08 tuono coast an hours labour . works a treat though so smooth ,no more wife headbutting me inbetween gear shifts ! :thumbup hps was selling shifters for £150 new instead of £240 bargain

hey up ida, any chance of posting up some pics of your mods to give me some idea's for when i get round to mounting the sensor? :cheers

hi,i will have a go at posting pics but i must confess it baffles me how to do it ,i did try before but having a short fuse i gave up .i will get my 15year son to have a go . what shifter have you got ? regards lee

where would we be without teenagers eh.... probably rich:banghead
i bought a non generic boxed APK MS-100 Quick shifter off flea bay that a t owner had bought but never got round to fitting. it comes with a self programable brain that cuts the injectors, a pressure sensor rod to fit to the gear shift(brain can be wired to work by either push or pull motion), and a manual off switch so i can select neutral without stalling the beast:thumbup
hoping for some good weather at easter so need to pull me finger out and get it fitted:cheers
