im going back too oldskool... lol... getting a 1986 GSXR Streetfighter !! :inlove

sooo... 23,000 miles... T&T... good tyres... had new linkage put in... new plugs... new battery... Aprilia 150A upgrade solenoid... new brake pads front & back... carbon fibre fairing infills... carbon fibre hugger... updated indicator switch (now in 'normal' jap position)... tinted double bubble screen... 8x6 plate... suspension set up by Don (but im an 'athletic' 108kgs... lol)... CBR 1000 side stand... R&R yellow wires have been modded... fully derestricted... 118bhp with standard can... CAT D due too car reversing into it when bike was parked up... classed as cosmetic... has small ding in frame by gear change but accessor tested it & said its not structual so fine to go back on the road !! :thumbup

pics... shows how i got it with gloss black lower & mid panels (guy was going too do a Restless paint job ??)... iv spent a small fortune on getting panels painted/decals & replaced... but dont expect showroom condition... its been used everyday... even in the snow... so its not 'mint'... lol... has very slight damage on right hand side from slow (10mph) slide when a friend came off it a week ago... needs 10 minutes with a dremmel sander (free)... couple of decals (£40ish)... a silver touch up paint from e-bay (£10ish)... i was going too do this & sell it for £1500 but havnt got the spare time now !! all this would give you a bike that looks great @ a bike meet... this bike is by no means a minger... lol !! :biggrin

RSV is great... but im stuck in the 80's im affraid !! :biggrin

£1400... if you are a good haggler... you never know... try your luck... i know times are hard for some... would rather let it go too a good home & be looked after !! :devious
