quick question - fully charged battery

i have a 12v 10ah battery. when left to fully charge, what reading should i get on my voltmeter (not dash voltmeter)?

12.6 - 12.8V for a fully charged battery. Test it hours after removing it from the charger though, so you're not measuring surface voltage.

mine shows 13.7 v on multimeter and 12.8 on dash

could be some surface charge though

If it starts it's charged if it does'nt start it's not

You need to check your voltage with the bike turned on, with lights off and the fuel pump primmed :thumbup

lights come on automatically when you turn the key
