Has anyone installed these guards.just took delivery of the bike yesterday..it appears some fairing removal required..otherwise pretty strait forward ..any problems to expect?

Hi Bill - there's heaps of comments on the 2014-2016 forum. I have the Hepco & Becker bars on my 2014 TP and they are very easy to fit (1 hr). The Puig bars are next to impossible to fit in less than 4 hrs as they require major body panel removal....but this is covered in the other forum. Also, these Puig bars have to come off for your major service at 20,000kms (12,000miles?) and if you don't take them off, it will cost extra for the dealer to remove them so they can get to the radiator before checking the valve clearances.....
Cheers

Ps didn't have time to add before dinner....that the 20,000km (12,000m?) service is a biggie...$1070Aussie as it really involves a major strip down to get to the valve clearance check and that requires removal of the radiator, which requires removal of Puig bars. H & B bars either are not in the way or can be removed quickly (minutes) and they look great on the bike - there are photo's on the 2014-2016 forum, including screens, and lots of other bling........

Happy reading..;)
