problems gettin the mille started..

on turnin the key no fuel pump kickin in.,. checked the relay and fuses, even got a second hand pump this also isnt kickin in when turnin the key... was told to tap the fuel pump as it may be stuck...but still not kickin in... any ideas:dowhat would be gratefull as to which direction i go next..

I had this problem, mate - I THINK its because it dumped fuel out of the injection system.... I basically gave it a good few throttle twists. Obviously, tis a fine line in not flooding it.... Sorry, but that's all my experience of it.

Doesn't say "no start" on the dash does it ?

Also check with a meter for power to the pump. I think i posted a pic on here before but i had a broken wires inside the connector that feeds the pump. It looked fine externally until we pulled it apart but it had broken internally.

This is what we found with a meter and digging.

The wire had fractured inside the plug itself.
