So how was the oil level?

everything fine now i think, the fuse box got wet, oil level cool 3.7`lt with a new filter sits about half inch under max at 88degreeC just enjoying the weather at the mo, thanks again for all the links and help i couldnt have sorted these problems without your help, and would have probley ****** it up trying on my own ........
