Hi, I have a 2004 RSV1000R Factory. Last trip, fuel tank had massive pressure build up. When fuel cap removed, fuel shot into the air. Quiet scary. So, whats causing the pressure & how do I fix it? Otherwise, bike starts & runs normally. Thanks.

I took the nipple off and drilled it ... easy to do just lift the tank
Is it really that easy?
I think the drain nipple on mine is blocked. I've tried to clear it with compressed air (failed) the I tried some thin wire to clear it (failed)
Do the nipples just unscrew out? And when you screw them back in, is there any sealant needed?
Cheers dude
Yeah it's that easy :biggrin ...There are two aluminium nipples,
