I sent in a best offer of £75.00 for the PP Lever above, amazingly it was accepted, they also left it at FREE postage.

Got to be a bargain that... they are the prettiest levers on the market i rekon.

Just need to save up now for the Clutch side LOL.

Hmmm a little disappointed in this lever. Don't get me wrong, it's a lovely lovely item.

However go pull your brakes lads ? you get a certain ammount of free play before the piston actually starts working the brake. On the stock lever this feels less pronounced than on the PP Tuning lever. If you look, it's the initial part of the piston moving before it actually moves the major part of the piston inside and therefore pumps fluid.

I re-fitted the standard lever, this obvioulsy also does the same...but for some reason not as much. Looking at all the dimensions etc they are all exactly the same so maybe it's just perception.

Pics later... Bloody hell it's LOVELY when fitted to the bike. Will need to wait till i get home and i can download from camera.

Gave it a try with me on the bike and it's good :)

You don't actually notice it.

I'm happy again :)

5 mins matey.

Only thing you need to do is remove 1 bolt (10mm spanner and flathead screwdriver) and make sure the little locator is in the right place. (pushes the piston/fluid)

DON'T drop the little spacer inside the cover so you have to remove the bung and the water cover LOL...

that would be a stoopid thing to do...yes indeedy

Ah sod it... in for a penny in for a pound...

I have the clutch lever on it's way as well :)

That will take more than 5 minutes - those tiny allen grub screws in the brass bit are a royal bastard even on a new bike. :dunno

Have fun. :cheers

Look on ChrisBuk's new lever pics Weeksy lad. You can clearly see a pivot/pushrod on the clutch lever. The grub screw in the round pivot bit bit is a swine to get out. If your lucky the lever will come with this bit already in. :thumbup

On Brembo levers that is. Your brake lever looks different ???

exactly - if yours come with the pushrod fitted you're laughing. My Pazzo's didn't and I nicked the clutch lever off Liz's 07 to use, the one on my (18 month old) Tuoldo was siezed solid.

When Liz decided she wanted nice looking levers I had to drill the fecker out and replace it. (it was about 2 yrs old by then)

If I had known you could get levers that included the pushrod I would have bought them! :cheers

The brake came with it in, i'd imagine the clutch will too.

Edit, Ah ha.... now i see. Dunno. We'll see on Monday. They've not got any in stock and had to order from PP today.

Clutch side was here waiting for me when i got back to the office.. IT does indeed come with the locating pushrod already fitted...

Very very pretty :)

Will be installed on bike in 10 mins time

What were you doing ? lol

It's all right you laughing.....

It's all about that little brass cylinder in the stock lever. The Pazzo lever doesn't include it, so you have to swap them over.

For some reason best known to Brembo you have to undo a 1.5mm hex drive grub screw that is loctited into the base of the cylinder before you can remove the push rod.

When I fitted the levers (actually to Liz's 07) the lever was a couple of years old (I swapped hers & mine when I got shorties for mine) and it was seized solid.

I tried heat, hammers, swearing (a lot) but eventually the inside of the screw chewed out.

Only method left was a 3.2mm bit and a pedestal drill. I then had to re-tap the base to M4 & insert a small replacement stainless grubscrew.

Not surprisingly that lever combo went on the Tuoldo when it went to the shop (where I believe one of the lads in the workshop has bought it) and I swapped the pazzo's onto my new Factory.
