Hello everybody. I have a rsvr 1000 factory 05, until now I have change the slipons, I put an air filter (k&n), I have install map 2, Oberon clutch slave and Barnett clutch kit (disks and springs). I'm thinking to open the air box and to take off the weight from the flywheel. Any suggestions about how to make the bike a little bit faster?

Hi Ted, i have done few upgrades on my rsv factory and this is what I would suggest.
Powercomander 5 with autotune AT300 you will have to take the exhaust headers off to weld the bosses in to take the wideband sensors but not a difficult job.
A Smalmoto airbox ring
Brisk plugs BOR12GLS only use the with Autotune as it runs fueling quite rich 13/1 AFR.
A quickshifter an ignition cut type
A quick action throttle, Accasato is a good one as it comes with cables and three cams.
All the above makes a big difference and makes the bike feel more current and modern also takes people by surprise. The pcv with Autotune makes it run so smooth low down that i changed the gearing from 15/42 to 15/40
as it was so easy to ride even in town and it wasn't reving its nuts off on the open road.
I did think of the flywheel but if eas to do it i would probably retain the weight but machine some off so it doesn't have the stalling problem at low revs also leaving the rotor assembly more secure.
I have also updated the brakes.
The engine is so responsive it revs like a 2 stroke and pulls from nowhere.

then a bigbore kit 1060/1103/1127 ,big 60mm throttle bodies, headwork and cams...
there is a supercharger at spoon valley racing but that is costly
power = $$$$$
