power question

I've mentioned this on the forum before....

Here is the issue.... On my 2004 Tuono, when I'm rolling on the throttle from closed or nearly closed in first or second gear it seems that I sometimes catch a power map in the computer and I sometimes catch a less than powerful map in the computer. The seat of the pants dyno is absolutely certain of the difference in power and it seems that if I roll off and then back on... I can usually catch the powerful map. I don't have exact throttle postion measurements but I am relatively certain that I am in the same general throttle open postion when this occurrs... I am positive I am not imagining things!! It's very annoying!!!!!! :banghead I have a derestricted air box, Aprilia shotgun slip on, and a AF1 computer chip on the bike.

Any help greatly appreciated!:crazy

Check the TB sensor for 0

Cheers Alain

Thanks for the reply!

I believe the chip is this one - Cloned Arrow 11014ME eprom, its at the bottom of the page and is $39.99 -http://www.af1racing.com/store/Scripts/prodList.asp

How do I check the throttle body for 0? That may be a dumb question... is it a physical postion or will I need some sort of measuring device?

Thanks!!! I'll check the 16 pin connector now.

Check cabels to and from coils to.
Might be just one spark going on and that retarts the ignition consederably.

Cheers Alain
