Hi everyone. Just fitted a dan moto race can. Just took it on the motorway and it feels underpowered and jerky like its gona spit me off.
could this be because it needs remapping? The exhaust manufacturer says it doesn't need remapping as its set up for the bike. Anyone any ideas? Thanks.

I have one on mine , runs fine , but Mille's can be fickle beasts
I feel mine needs set up a bit as it dosent feel as torquey as with the aprillia TI race can on , but that was 8 foot long and looked pish , think I'll get it dyno'd in the spring

Anything that alters the air flow through the engine will mess with the low speed fueling. The Danmoto can is pretty much straight through so depending on what u had before it will alter things quite a lot. If its become very jerky and popping a lot on the overrun then it's likely running lean.

Take it to someone like Aprilia Performance and get the low speed fueling adjusted and the Tb's balanced. Shouldn't cost that much. The stock ecu trimmers will have scope to adjust for all but more involved modifications.

As a side note Rsv's don't generally like really low back pressure cans, they never run fantastic with them. I don't know if the Danmoto falls into that category as never owned one but just something to consider.

dont want to be rude...generic race can from china set up for the bike????? Sorry their sales pitch must be great ...have a look on ebay they do the same can for a thousand other bikes....

Anyway back to the plot as above...get your tb and co levels set up ...maybe even purchase another chip from here to help out with the new fuel requirements before you have the tb's done.
