Power Commander

Hello all,

I have a 2007 RSV 1000 with Leo Vince Factory Slip On's. I am wondering if anyone has put a power commander on there bike, and if so, was there any improvement?

I have a PC3 on my 2006.

Downloaded the correct map for my modifications and lost 5 bhp when tested on the dyno. You need to get a custom map to gain power and make it run better. I got 10bhp more when I had a custom map made up.

The Aprilia ECU is programmable though so if you find the right dealer you will be able to get a custom map from them which should give you the same results as with the PC3.

Thanks for the reply. I will make sure to get a custom map done for my bike. Speaking of my bike, it is the exact one in you photo. I will put some photos up as soon as I get a chance. Thanks again for the info.

My Exact bike? Or one similar? lol. I had the EVO air box modification on mine too when i put the powercommander on which might have messed up the ratios a bit. Still best to get a custom map. Seems very difficult to get rid of the dip between 5-6K though.

Well the same color scheme! I am just going to put a k&n air filter in it prior to puting the pc on. Hopefully this gives me the extra power im looking for.
