Hi only just joined, just like some help it at all possible,

Got a rsv Mille 03 29k on clock, (titaum) 62mm race can and link pipe, best £150 I've spent,
K&n filter, just thinking of maybe biting bullit and going down power Commader road,
If anyone's had one / got one on there rsv, maybe some feedback on if it worth it on my bike with mileage it's got or leaving and waiting for nxt rsv,

Thanks andy,

P.s where do you get little www stickers? Saw one at sherburn milk bar on a rsv but lad wasn't around to ask,

Definately definately worth getting a PC - and a bit of dyno time to set the fuelling up.

by making the fuelling spot on it will:
Smooth out any snatchy throttle at low revs.
Ensure it doesn't run rich or lean - preventing damage to engine
Give you better fuel economy
much better all round throttle response
May reduce back pressure a bit, but that is only a drama if you have a weak battery.

Do it man, especially if you have cans

I would say yes go for it, i put one on my Gen2 Factory, to go along with a hooked stylie air box, arrow cans and got it mapped on a dyno, after dyno time/ mapping, got a extra 9 bhp and alot smother, than befor it was mapped to suit mods, i just installed the closest map available from the dynojet website at first.

a pc3 and custom map will always be best

but make sur you have comp[leted all your mods before otherwise adding exta's like a moidded header or open airbox will need another dyno run

I've got one with my bike, not installed it, got not discs or instructions so if anyone can help or suggest set up for a Gen1 full exhaust system, larger ram air, kn airbox and filter and race EPROM then please let me know. It's PC3 none USB

Thanks

Jim, just fit it and instal the software, turn your ignition on and connect laptop to it, you will find a similar description on their online database for a map to suit you,, that gets you most the way there and as said, finish your mods and get it dyno tuned if you care to.

Is it worth fitting with a downloaded map or would eds eprom fuel table be better?

I heard the custom eproms are better than the downloaded maps?

Ive got mine sitting in the garage.. waiting to do a custom map probably winter time..

Good point Woodsy, deffo start with a chip designed to suit your intended mods, THEN when finished and about to go on dyno, get the PC3 on there blank and have it tuned to the n'th degree.
