hi
I am thinking of getting a Tuono to replace my Honda CBR but need to know if it is possible to make the handlebars narrower as I have limited space to get between 2 walls to where I keep my bike at the rear of my house.
The width between the walls is 32 inches so would it be possible to cutoff an inche at either end of the bars and still have room to fit the switchgear and levers etc?
thanks for any help

you could take off the bar end weights !!

that would take it to 30".

is it just a gate or a long wall?

Hi
thanks for the quick replys,I have to get it through a doorway then down an alleyway,I was thinking maybe to fit some renthal bars as they are a bit narrower but have no idea what size they would need to be etc.

why not have some bar ends turned to fit?...like the new speed trip....mushroom ends, don't stick out more than a few mm

simple solution S min....point her at yer alley an aproach at a decent lick then quickly dump the clutch tae get her oan her erse end then while wheeleyin turn the bars tae full lock hus reducin overall span...

...that wye ye widnae hae tae cut aff onything.....

...micht jist work the once tho an ah cannae guarantee ye,ll git it oot again :thumbup

Awricht Swifty min, fit a set of open mivvs and the wall will faw doon. Problem sorted:thumbup
