I am 45 years old (fart) and have been riding almost 30 years. Currently I own and ride a 2015 CBR 1000RR and have done almost 35K kms (22K miles) on it. As you can guess I am getting older but not willing to let go sport bikes in my life.
I am keenly looking at 2019/2020 Tuono Factory for a next bike as it gives me more upright position but similar exhilaration of liter super bike. I have few questions and hoping 2019/2020 factory owners would be able to help.
1) I am 6'2" and 220 lbs in full gear. I have sat on the bike but its hard to say how couple of hours ride comfort (wind, arms and back) on highway and canyons would be. Any thoughts?
2) I have 120/70 & 190/55 Rosso Corsa II tire pair at home, would I be able to fit 190/55 rear in future on Factory bike? Guessing there are settings through dash to change the tire size for all TC etc calibration.
3) What option is better in getting Akrapovic slip-on race exhaust (carbon)? Should I get it more expensive from dealer and let them unlock race ECU in stock ECU or should I get same exhaust from outside and buy Aprilia race ECU?
4) Any other general suggestion for me based on my age and weight? I have been also looking at 2020 Ninja 1000 sx, not in same league of course but gravitating more toward Tuono.
