Right, just testing the water here. I'm thinking about having a change of bike so might sell the RSV or swap/px. Not too sure on what price to sell it for. Anyway here's a list of details:
-2001 registered, V5 present, MOT until next year, Tax until October, 2 previous owners.
-Full service history. Ohlins forks & shock rebuilt, new genuine brembo discs all round, valve clearances checked at aprilia performance. Stacks of paperworks & receipts to prove.
-28K miles.
Since buying the bike, i've serviced it myself as i don't trust garages. Full service last week, K&N Air Filter, Ngk Iridium sparkplugs, ROCK guardian sigma 15w50 oil, oil filter, and new coolant. New bridgestone BT014 tyres, no more than 500 miles done on them, all brakes recently bled, new pads and it hasn't suffered from the dreaded rear brake fail. Have spent a small fortune in parts on it also since i've owned it. List as follows:
- New clutch slave seals, used silicone grease, and bled through.
-Talon gold rear sprocket, new stainless hub nuts.
-Tsubaki x-ring chain.
-New carbon fibre infills, heel plates, wind deflectors.
-CNC Machined brake levers, new rubber boots for master cyclinders.
-Stainless handlebar bolt set.
-Titanium Akrapovic Carbon End cans/Straps (Recently rebuilt/repacked - New Sleeves/decals) - On falco headers hence more of an upswept look.
-New aluminium exhaust hangers.
-Flush rear indicators (To clear exhausts)
-Radiator guards/Gel belly pan protector.
-Probolt chain adjuster blocks/adjuster bolts & paddock bobbins.
-Titanium probolt front & rear axle nuts. (Cost £25 each!)
-Probolt stainless bolts:- front/rear caliper bolts, footrest hanger and heel plate bolts, exhaust hanger bolts, front disc bolts, and pretty much every bolt on the bike has been replaced with stainless.
-New black zinc dzus fasteners for fairings.
-New OEM speedo cable.
-New OEM Rectifier.
-New uprated yamaha starter solenoid.
-Motobatt 200cca 14amp battery.
-Extra earth cables.
-Probolt bar ends.
-Factory racing billet resovoir caps.
-Probolt blue oil plug bolt/sump plug and rear brake lever bolt.
- Carbon vinyl wrapped clocks.
-Various new decals(Image Works)
The bike had the ECU restriction removed by aprilia performance, ecu labelled and signed by them. Pretty sure i've missed something. As you can see, i've replaced quite a few parts. Most bolts are replaced with stainless as i can't stand rust! The bike runs smooth and starts fine. Most bolts had nylock on them to stop any rattling loose, also have dyno printouts etc with the paperwork. Has the various age-related marks as it is a 10 year old bike but still bloody good condition compared to some of the RSVs i have seen! Always kept clean.. Also has a datatool duo immobilizer, original tool kit and various spares - OEM exhaust hangers, carbon exhaust hangers, brake levers, and some other bits & bobs i can't think of. Would like to sell/px or swap just not sure on price! Offers welcome, just know its a good RSV.
