I'll be giving mine a right good polishing next week, the wife is away.....

It's amazing how dusty it gets on top of the wardrobe!

I guard my precioussssssss RX-7 like a genuine Gollum :laugh :laugh Polish it gently with some lukewarm water and non-abrasive soap, then kiss it G'night and put it back in the textile bag it came in. Then it goes in a safe, soft place (I lay it on a lounge chair with a sheep's skin on it). :devious

Holy bejeezes, writing this just made me realize what a total freak I am !!:dowhat :coocoo Am I ?? :dowhat

Tis best to keep your helmet nice and fresh and clean... i find a couple of baby wipes do the job of getting the worst of the crud off then a good polish with a micro fibre cloth :eatcorn... i just use mr sheen on the helmet :devious:laugh:laugh

Mine i let nature take care of it. Asamatterof fact Algernon gets such a polishing some times that he just needs a well earned Break. until the next time he tears away to face the elements once again.

steve mate, dont use Mr Sheen, it will damage it. better to get a dedicated cleaner and polish.(its about the only job I dont use good ole mR sheen for)

Damp tissue to clean, dry tissue to, er, dry. Yes, I am talking about the SAFETY helmet. Mr Sheen on the visor... that's yer lot!

don't EVER use any products on your visor! even if it says 'visor cleaner'!!!

only lukewarm water. and yes, i AM a qualified arai helmet technician.
