Polished swinging arm

M

Mick Oliver

Just tried to show my polished swinging arm along with new rear sets I dont think the photos do it justice:inlove

I bought it from Time machine (Mark) the polishing took off all the anodising and it is smooth where the word Aprilia is which I repainted in Red and with the new rearsets you can see more of the arm and polish:thumbup

I just used some threaded rod and some old crash bung I had in the garage:thumbup

LOUD apparently if you overtake someone you can induce a heart attack with the shock waves:biggrin:biggrin:thumbup

Never mind the swing arm what about that CAN :D

One of my nieboughs said something about my can being loud it went something like "KEEP THE F@@KING NOISE DOWN":dunno

I dont know about fitting the rest of the can but atleast I left the baffle in GOD knows what it would be like with none:eek:

Mick, your ebay link for the GBmoto rearset was for ZX9R's. I have searched for Aprilia RSV fitment but can't find any links. Can you point me in the right direction :thumbup

Okay guys i'm posting this on behalf of griff untill he can get on to reply himself

The rearsets you have are the bespoke design that griffs been working on for the last few months
There was a bit of mis communication with regards to the rearsets & 1 set were sold by mistake.

As these are a bespoke design they are only avaiable from Griff @ Aprilia Performance from now on & not available direct from gbmoto

just to give you guys a heads up as to where to get them from

griff will be along to post his own piece

Mick,
hope ya love the lay out of the rear sets & are getting on with them well
Any problems with getting the rear brake bled right?

I did some of the trial work on the first batch to see if there were any issues with the set-up, adjustment & function of rear brake

The set up was fine got the rear brake set up with the orginal brake line and the set is great but the guy had about 10 sets and said they were made locally to him.
He had lots of sets for different bikes all of the same design.
I dont know were the design came from but he told me he had a bike for 6weeks to make sure it was all correct and a machine shop made them for him.
But I am well pleased with them there is an adustable post to stop the rear lever coming up to far on a concentric cam and different hieght fixings and the levers are on stainless steel bearings and all stainless bolts:thumbup
Specially the price:thumbup
