Thought I would try out my new polishing kit on something that I didnt need first before attacking my exhaust.

Not to bad for first go but needed to spend more time on cleaning it up first.

what do you think?!?

Oh sh*t! That's just what I did on my Bandit a few years ago. I'd forgotten how goos it looked. now I'll HAVE to do it on this bike. Cheers Garvey.

STL - it didn't take long. Couple of hours I seem to remember. Accurate enough for you?

now your going to spend the rest of the summer polishing the rest of your bike.

The kit was just some cheapo one of the bay but it didnt come the lime stuff.

Brought it to tidy up my Exhaust as its got lots of salt pits on it. Wanted to have a go on something I didnt need like this broken hanger. I used a wirebrush on the drill to clean it up first hense the scratches, just wanted to see if I could do it :)

Gonna spend more time on the exhaust :) once I get some lime powder

Pat, Not polishing anything else YET :) Glad you got your tax, Ride me thinks :)

I did my NC30s frame and vowed never to do it again. and once you start you gotta finish.

For smaller parts i would do it again, but would think about getting them laquered afterwards.

try Autosol for the smaller scratches with a small jewelers mop.

ps When I did the rear hanger on the NC i attached the mop on a bench grinder as a drill in the hands can get quite heavy after 2 hours.
