Please expalin why if you try and start an RSV on a low batt or full throttle it shag

I would like to know this too. I started mine today after it was sat for three weeks and there was no way it would fire till I gave it a bit of throttle.

It's all to do with the Starter (Sprag) Clutch. Think of a small cog trying to turn two bloody great pistons. At only half the power available the sprag clutch struggles, as does the starter motor. That's when everything falls apart and at £175 a sprag before fitting it's a tad more expensive than charging your battery.

Aprilia's like full battery's, it helps preserve the engine when starting.

As for the engine turning backwards, I'm afraid I can't help. Sorry

It's the equivalent of a big single kicking back and breaking break your leg. On the RSV, the weak link is the sprag clutch. The battery needs a good charge to ensure the engine is spun over quick enough to avoid a kick back. Also the sprag clutch needs to be spun quick enough to engage properly. If the starter doesn't spin it quick enough, it can slip causing wear and eventual failure.
