Planning next outing

Route 1 looks good to me & a tad shorter - for the old bones you know.
I did St Marys Loch many yrs ago, & I'm sure there's a small road from Moffat that runs east of the 74 to Lockerbie and comes out near Brampton? Just if the second run is tooo long? So for this oart of the journey OT will lead. :yes :lol
I'm away from 3rd June in the van so will miss 8th 9th weekend rides.

I know some of those roads like the back of my hand - NOT. I am OK till I get to a junction, I panic & make a wrong decision.

Saturdays are best for me - the missus goes to see her offspring & I am left to fend for myself all day. :thumbup

dont forget theres the afi boarders hoon going on mid june on june 21st-23rd..the main rideout is on the saturday 22nd you could just join us for this:crazy

Last time Maddot and masel had a run wae yers we stopped opposite The HamShankShoulder of Mutton boozer (Brampton) a think and yer showed me the route tae Longton, fae there we followed the A7.

Scrub the above, I wandered aboot last year and ended up at the approach tae the Holly Isle, on the way hame a wiz all ower the place but a think a know of the road yer talkin aboot GF.

Mr b, the 2o somethin and the start of June is oot fir me,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,please don't breech the Border when a cannae meet yers. :no

its the B7076 / old Carlisle road, looks as if you are on the 74 but zoom in
